Building confidence, discipline, and opportunity through world-class track and field development.
More Than a Camp — A Movement for the Next Generation
From Cameroon to Nigeria and beyond, we are opening doors for talented young athletes.
Elite Coaching. Real Mentorship. Lasting Growth.
Helping athletes unlock their full potential both in sport and in life.
Creating opportunities through sport, mentorship, and life development
We are dedicated to developing young athletes by combining high-level track and field training with mentorship, education, and life skills.
Our goal is to create opportunities, inspire confidence, and help athletes unlock their full potential—both in sport and in life.
Where the journey began
Our journey began in Cameroon, where we successfully hosted our first track and field camp—bringing together passionate young athletes for hands-on coaching, skill development, and mentorship.
Structured Training
Led structured training sessions for youth athletes with focus, consistency, and measurable growth.
Technical Coaching
Provided technical coaching in jumps, sprints, and conditioning to strengthen athletic performance.
Confidence & Growth
Created a supportive environment focused on growth, confidence, and long-term athlete development.
Community Connection
Connected with local communities and future talent to build something meaningful and sustainable.
Expanding the vision
We’re expanding. Our next stop is Nigeria, where we aim to continue building opportunities for young athletes by delivering high-quality training, mentorship, and exposure.
Building athletes and shaping future leaders
Michelle Fokam is an international track and field athlete representing Cameroon, specializing in the triple jump. A former NCAA standout at Rice University, she has competed at an elite level on the global stage, bringing both experience and excellence to every space she enters.
But beyond competition, Michelle’s mission extends far deeper than sport.
Driven by her Cameroonian roots and global journey, she founded the Michelle Fokam Track & Field Camp to create opportunities for young athletes—especially those who may not otherwise have access to high-level training, mentorship, and exposure.
Her work in Cameroon marked the beginning of a larger vision: using sport as a vehicle to empower youth, build community, and open doors internationally.
As she expands into Nigeria and beyond, Michelle continues to build a platform that not only develops athletes—but shapes future leaders.

Join the MovementHey y’all! I’m Michelle Fokam, a professional triple and long jumper proudly representing Team Cameroon. Over the years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to compete on some of the biggest stages in athletics, from the 2021 U.S. Olympic Trials to the 2024 African Championships, and as a four-time All American, placing 3rd at the NCAA Championships in 2021. Competing for Cameroon has allowed me to connect deeply with my roots and represent my heritage on a global stage.
But my story goes far beyond the sandpit. I’m passionate about using my journey to make an impact through education, youth empowerment, and community connection. Outside of training and competition, I’ve continued to pour into my community by hosting events and speaking engagements that spark meaningful dialogue, including a Fireside Chat on Healthy Relationships for student athletes and a community address at the Abi Cup Annual Soccer Match. These experiences have allowed me to connect with people on a deeper level, share lessons from my own journey, and encourage others to embrace growth in all areas of life.

Our Story
As a proud Rice University alumna, where I majored in psychology and earned the C-USA Spirit of Service Award twice, I’ve always believed that athletics can be a vehicle for change. My mission is to honor Cameroon through excellence, empower others to reach their potential, and create lasting opportunities through sports, education, and mentorship. As I continue developing new projects and initiatives that expand this mission, I hope to inspire others to dream boldly and invest in the communities that shaped them.
